LEROY JOSEPH MICHEL

Leroy Joseph Michel, age 88, of Morgan City, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Leroy was born October 20, 1933.
Leroy enjoyed fishing, gardening, cutting grass, hunting and most of all being with his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Sr. and Ella Percle Michel; brothers, Irving Michel and Sidney Michel, Jr.; and his sister, Mazie Michel.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 67 years, Genevieve Mire Michel; sons, Kenneth Michel and his wife Cindy, and Mark Michel; daughter, Tammie Michel; sister, Ann Michel Welling; grandchildren, Kerry Michel and his wife Jamie, Matthew Michel, and Sonia Guillory; great-grandchild, Isla Michel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends and family of Leroy were invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, April 22, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Morgan City, LA., 1915 Victor II Blvd. from 10 a.m.-noon with Funeral Services immediately following. Interment: Morgan City Cemetery.
