LEONARD JOSEPH VICKNAIR

July 29, 1949 — June 14, 2019
Leonard Joseph Vicknair, age 69, a native and resident of Morgan City, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
Leonard loved to be at his camp always staying busy working on his projects. He was a family man who enjoyed spending his free time with his friends and family having get-togethers. Leonard was a happy-go-lucky guy who never met a stranger.
Those left to cherish Leonard’s beautiful memory are his wife of 29 years, Elletta Vicknair of Morgan City; his fur baby, Amie-Lyn; his two sisters, Agatha Vicknair Wiggins, and her husband, Terry Paul Wiggins of Bayou Vista, and Carol Ann Vicknair Theriot and her husband, Perry of Lydia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He joins in heaven his parents, Edmond and Elise Vicknair Sr.; one sister, Elise Vicknair Weaver; one brother, Edmond Vicknair Jr.; and his nephew and godchild, Charles Louis Vicknair.
Visitation was observed on Monday, June 17, 2019, from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Douglas Courville officiating. Following services, Leonard was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hargrave Funeral Home.
