LARRY O'PRIEN

Larry O’Prien, 60, a native of Morgan City and resident of Gray, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, 9-10:45 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Morgan City, with a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Jervis Washington of Cincinnati and Silas Carter of Hampton, Georgia; two daughters, Shemeika Ward of Madison, Mississippi and Jerrica Jackson of Gibson; one brother, Harry O’Prien Jr. of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Elizabeth Washington of Apple Valley, California, Kathy O’Prien of Gray, and Mavis Windom of Houston; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
