JONES L. “JOHNNY” WALDEN

September 12, 1942 - April 22, 2017
Private funeral services for Jones L. “Johnny” Walden were held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in the Franklin Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. Father Cedric Sonnier officiated the service.
Johnny was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin. He was a veteran of the Louisiana National Guard and worked in the family business, Walden’s Gulf Service Station. Johnny was also an avid HAM radio operator. He passed away at his home at the age of 74 on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Survivors include his sisters, Linda Walden Boudreaux and her husband Gary of Greenwell Springs and Debbie Walden Von Werder and her husband Allan of Franklin; two nieces, Barbara Boudreaux Gilley and her husband Hal of Destin, Florida, and Angel Delcambre Higgins and her husband Joey of Charenton; and seven great nieces and nephews, Cameron Gilley, Kale Delcambre, Tyler Gilley, Kane Boudreaux, Koby Boudreaux, Mckayla Higgins, and McKenna Higgins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Walden and Vivian Naquin Walden; and one nephew, Rowdy L. Boudreaux.
