Jerry Lee “Cooney” Ward, 55, a resident and native of Jeanerette, La., passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018 at 2:05 a.m. at his residence.
Visitation will be observed on Friday March 2, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home 604 Lovette Street Jeanerette, La. from 8 a.m. until funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Burial in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Jeanerette
Memories of Jerry or “Cooney,” as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his mother Shirly Mae Ward of Jeanerette, La.; one brother, Paul Ward of Loreauville, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Larry (Sylvia) Wiles of Franklin, Victoria Ward, and Mrs. John (Idell) Broussard all of Jeanerette, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death his father, an infant sister, his companion, and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
