Jerry Daniel Mire Jr., 65, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Sykes Mire of Bayou L’Ourse; children, Jerri Mire, David Mire, Anthony Simpson and Jessica Mire, all of Morgan City, and Katie Adams of Bayou L’Ourse; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Shelley Michel and Lucas Mire.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held privately.
Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
