JAMES “GONZO” HARDING, II

James “Gonzo” Harding, II, 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Gray, La., passed away peacefully at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Eagle Wright Baptist Church, 3590 Hwy 316 in Gray, La. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Zilton Harding; daughters, Mrs. Elliott ( Lisa) Aiken and Arnaissha Polly of Gray, La; sons, James, III (Tara) Harding of Franklin, La., Travis (Tranace) Valentine, Lindsey Hester, and Christopher (Lisa) Hester) all of Gray, La.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, John, Batiste, Jr. and Therode Batiste of Gray; sisters, Lenora Stevenson of Franklin and Isadora Delahousaye of Morgan City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
