Jammal Alvin “Hick” Weeden, 41, a resident of Patterson, La., passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2017 at 11:41 p.m. at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Reverend Ron Bias will officiate the services. Burial will follow services in the Berwick Cemetery in Berwick, La.
Memories of “Hick,” as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his parents. Charlie D. Kelly Sr. and Sandra W. Kelly of Patterson, La.; three brothers, Charlie Kelly, Jr. of Bayou Vista, La., Derrick (Tyese) Kelly and Tramone Scott of Patterson, La.; two sisters, Tanya Scott of Patterson, La. and Tia White of New Orleans, La.; a grandmother, Jessie Johnson of Baton Rouge, La.; three aunts, four uncles, his god-parents, Sadie Robinson of Memphis, TN and Alfred Garrison Sr. of TX; a god-son, Jammal Weeden of Patterson, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jammal was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Johnson Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Alonzo ad Bena Weeden; five uncles, Melvin Johnson, Morris Lee Givens, Alvin Weeden, Harold Kelly and Arthur Johnson, Jr.; and an aunt, Louise Johnson.
