Jackie Lee Watson Sr., 76, a resident and native of Morgan City, La., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, La.
Visitation will be observed on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, La. 70380. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC-local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Jackie Lee is survived by: his companion, Brenda Rideau of Morgan City, La.; one daughter, Jacquelyn Hilliard and her husband Curtis of Patterson, La.; one son, Jackie Watson, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Broussard, La.; step-daughter, Trina Matthews of Gibson, La.; step-son, Terry Matthews of Gibson, La.; one sister, Joan Watson of Morgan City, La.; one brother, Jerald Watson Sr. and his wife Mary of Morgan City, La.; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Jackie Sr. was preceded in death by: his parents, Clarence and Clarissa Watson; two sisters: Deloris W. Brown, Terry Lee Watson; five brothers: Clarence Watson, Jr., Mansfield Watson Sr., Glenn Watson, Gary Watson, and Eric Watson Sr.
