Guy Charles Gilmore Jr.

June 19, 1959 — January 11, 2018
Guy Charles Gilmore Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 58 on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at his home in Berwick. He was born in Morgan City and a resident of Berwick. He graduated from Berwick High School and furthered his education at Young Memorial.
Guy enjoyed reading, tinkering with his 1962 Red Corvette and working on computers.
Guy will be missed by his wife, Esther; his sons, Gregory Gilmore and wife Natasha, Geoffery Gilmore and companion Julie Zink, and Olivier Russo and husband Cole; one sister Shawn Kleimann and husband Mark; his father, Guy Charles Gilmore; and his grandchildren, Alaya Gilmore, Lillian Trusty, Skylar Trusty and Carinn Rink.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louella Gilmore; mother-in-law, Joyce Rogers; and both sets of grandparents.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:10 p.m. Friday Jan. 19, 2018, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father William Rogalla celebrating mass. A visitation will be held in the parish hall from 9 a.m. until noon. The rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. Guy will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
