Gustave James Romero, 68, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, Oct/ 1, 2022, in Lafayette.

He was was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Morgan City, the son of Minus Romero and Marie “Bessie” Miller Romero.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Vickie Percle Romero of Morgan City; two sons, Chad Romero of Morgan City and Keith Percle and signifigant other Stephanie Lajeunie of Berwick; one brother, Timothy Romero and wife Marilyn of Morgan City; and two sisters, Susan Aucoin and husband Henry of Bayou L’Ourse and Nancy Hampton of Greece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Minus and Bessie Romero and siblings, Juanita Bacle and Kenneth Romero.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Morgan City Cemetery with Father Mike Trahan officiating.
