GLENN CHARLES DARCE

Mr. Glenn Charles Darce’, of Baton Rouge, La., passed away on Monday Dec. 4, 2017 at the age of 69.
Glenn was born to parents OJ and Isabelle Darce’ on Jan. 2, 1948 in Franklin, La.
In 1968, he volunteered for the Army and served in the Vietnam War. In 1969, he married Jane Charpentier. After returning from the war, Glenn was an aviation pilot and mechanic for many years. He gave his time helping others by fixing, building, and designing anything and everything.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane; two sons and their spouses, Christian and Natasha Darce’, and Ian and Sarra Darce’; brother and sister in law, Don and Jackie Darce’; sister and brother in law, Lee and Bill Forgey; his grandchildren, London, Evan, Cooper and Max Darce’. He was preceded in death by his parents, OJ and Isabelle Darce’; his brother, Allen Darce’ and grandson Sam Darce’.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greenwell Springs, La. at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 07, 2017. The family is very grateful for all of the condolences and prayers that have been offered.
