FLOYD JOSEPH AUCOIN JR.
August 2, 1962- September 16, 2022
Floyd Joseph Aucoin Jr., 60, a resident of Patterson, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at Ochsner St. Mary.
Church services will be held at Patterson United Methodist Church, 1204 Main Street, Patterson, La. 70392 at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022. A reception will be held following church services in the fellowship hall at the church. Family, Friends, and others whose lives Boo-Boo touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat.
Floyd was born August 2, 1962, in Morgan City, the son of LouElla Scadlock Aucoin and Floyd Aucoin Sr.
Boo-Boo truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, taking care of his mom and Nanny. Boo-Boo was known by many people; he was everyone’s friend. He always carried a smile and giggle that made us all laugh. He enjoyed watching wrestling and football, he was a diehard New Orleans Saints Fan.
Floyd will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, LouElla Scadlock Aucoin of Patterson, Godmother, LeAnna Foret; aunt, Emma Boudreaux, and husband Stanley; cousins, Brenda Robinson and husband John, Mary Malhiet and husband Robert, Jeannie Landry and husband Craig, Tina Boudreaux, Eddie Foret and wife Keicha.
Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Aucoin Sr.; paternal grandparents, Louis and Buela Aucoin; maternal grandparents, Amos and Eunice Scadlock; aunt, Betty Boudreaux; aunt and uncle, Geraldine and Amos Scadlock.
