Brown; her grandchildren, Taylor Fields and his wife Kelly, Morgan Fields and his wife Sara, Sarah Fribley and her husband Scott, Lori Briggs and her husband Anthony; and Miranda Topham; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Bailey, Chase, Kaylee, and Scottie Fribley, Rhett, Levi, and Vivian Fields, Wren and Dash Fields, Celeste, Sebastian, and Liam Briggs, Lillyian Topham, and Krysta Alferd; her former daughter-in-law, Monika Fabre; her longtime friends, Joe and Betty Glorioso and Butch and Shirley Barras; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave Broussard and Anita Suire Broussard; her three brothers, Ray Broussard, Newby Broussard and his wife Joy Rita, and Phyac “P.J.” Broussard and his wife Georgette “Jo”; her brother-in-law, Charles Brown; her nephew and godchild, Charlie Brown; her nephew, Newby Broussard Jr.; her great-nephew, C.J. Broussard; and her former husband, Francis “Bubba” Fields.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 5, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM. Following she will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will conduct the services.

The family extends their deepest appreciation to the St. Mary Ochsner 6th Floor Nurses for the compassionate care given to Jane in her time of need.
