ELLENA D. BEGNAUD

Ellena D. Begnaud, a native of Basile and a longtime resident of St. Mary Parish, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2024.

She is survived by her son, Chris Begnaud and Norma, of Patterson; her daughters, Jackie Romero and her husband, Dennis, of Berwick, and Elizabeth Begnaud Theriot of Berwick; her four grandchildren, and her four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the St. Stephen Catholic Church hall from 8:30 a.m. until time of dismissal for services. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father
Sal Istre presiding over the services. Graveside services for Ellena will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.
