DORIS LEE HARTMAN DARNELL

Doris Lee Hartman Darnell, 80, a native and resident of Patterson, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until services at 2 p.m. at Zion Chapel AME Church in Patterson with burial following in New Salem Cemetery.
She is survived by children, Lawrence Darnell and Tempest Jackson, both of Patterson, and Valarie Landry of Pearland, Texas; sister, Gladys Ahmad of Las Vegas; brother, Ogden Thomas of Patterson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven stepchildren; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by parents and nine siblings.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
