Debbie Marie Johnson, 67, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Monday, April 18, 2022 at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Morgan City. Masks and social distancing required. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by children, Clyde Verdin Jr. of New Orleans and Quincy Verdin of Gonzales; sisters, Crystal Johnson of New Orleans, Karen Johnson, MD of Houston and Darlene Theriot of Houma; and a host of other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
