David Lee Lightsey Sr. was born Aug. 30, 1959, to the late Richard and Geraldine Lightsey. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 on July 25, 2021.
David was a native and longtime residence of Morgan City.
David is survived by one son, David Lee Lightsey, Jr.; two brothers, Wilbur Gautreaux and wife Paula and Richard J. Lightsey and wife Paulette; one sister, Carol Girior; his fur baby, Daisy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Geraldine Lightsey; and one brother, Jimmy Hebert.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hargrave Funeral Home, for help with funeral expenses. Services for David will be held privately by the family.
