CHRISTOPHER 'CHRIS' HUGH LaROCCA

Christopher “Chris” Hugh LaRocca, 54, a resident of Morgan City passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

Chris was born on December 18, 1966 in Morgan City, the son of Nicholas F. LaRocca Sr. and Alice Adams LaRocca.

Chris was an avid fan of LSU and never missed and opportunity to watch a game. He loved to be outdoors spending time down at the camp. He loved his family and cherished every opportunity he was able to spend with them, from watching William play baseball, to playing with his granddaughter Alice or spending time with his wife, family was very important to Chris.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Tara Daves LaRocca of Morgan City; two children, Harley LaRocca Miller and husband Daltyn of Phoenix, Arizona and William LaRocca of Morgan City; one granddaughter, Alice Jane Miller; two sisters, Penny Kelley and husband Mike of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Kim Roth and husband Tommy of New Orleans; one sister-in-law, Kathy Thimmesch LaRocca of Morgan City; numerous nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Nicholas F. LaRocca Jr.; one nephew, Adam Kelley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home. Following Mass, Chris will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
