CHARLES EDWARD HALL, JR.

Charles Edward Hall, Jr., 45, a native of Pike, MS and a resident of Gray, La. passed away peacefully at 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, April 27, at Jones Funeral Home chapel located at 6775 West Park Ave. in Houma, La. Visitation will resume at 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 524 Andrew St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his former wife Cynthia Newman of Franklin; three sons Charles E. Johnson of Morgan City, Jamal A. Hall and Avante’ Mason of Gray; daughters, Ashanta and Sametra Hall, Jasmine, Kayla and Jessica Johnson, Karisma Celestine, Amira and Alayla Mason of Gray; three grandchildren; three brothers, Lamon Simmons, Donald Nixon and Dennis Baker of Pike, MS.; three sisters, Danielle Nixon, Denise Baker and Amanda Moses (Javon); and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and foster parents.
