CHARLENE ANN BONNER CLEMENTS

Our dear mother, Charlene Ann Bonner Clements, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Charlene was born on December 23, 1932 in Morgan City, Louisiana, the youngest of four children, to Lawrence and Nellie Bonner. She attended Sacred Heart High School and Nicholls State University before marrying the love of her life, Philip J. Clements II. Charlene and Philip were married 66 years and had four children.
Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Clements II; son, Michael Clements; grandson, T.J. Sherer; parents, Lawrence and Nellie Bonner; brother, Donald Bonner; and sister, Beverly Bernucho.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mary (Charles) Arrambide of Olathe, KS; Marcia (Jim) Lester of Spring, TX; and Marlene (Tom) Sherer of Gladewater, TX; as well as her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 9510 W. 127th Street, Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation and a rosary will begin at 9:00 AM prior to the Mass. Inurnment will be held at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 Fort Hood Street, Killeen, Texas 76542 (Date to be determined).
