CAROLYN BELLA PARRO

Carolyn Bella Parro, 85, of Berwick, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9th, 1937, in Morgan City, Louisiana to the late Sidney Patrick Bella and Edna Josephine (Joseph) Bella. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ernest Hamilton “Shot” Parro and her parents.

Carolyn is survived by two children, one daughter, Bella Burchfield and her husband, Lloyd Burchfield of Berwick, Louisiana, and one son, Ernest “Pat” Parro and his wife, D’Lane Parro of Berwick; three grandchildren, Sydney Jo Burchfield and her husband, Eric Brooks; Bailey Parro; and Patrick Parro. Carolyn was the owner of Carolyn’s Fairyland in Berwick for 50 years. She spent her life devoted to her family and helping people and animals in need.

Visitation was held on January 23, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial was held in the Berwick Mausoleum. Pall bearers included Pat Parro, Patrick Parro, Lloyd Burchfield, Eric Brooks, Gary LaHood, Chad Bella, Greg Guzzetta, and Wayne Fromenthal.
