CARLOS ORLANDO BIAS
Carlos Orlando Bias, 64, a native and resident of Morgan City, died January 5, 2010, at 8:37 a.m. at his residence.
Visitation will be at the Siracusaville Civic Center Gym, 1110 Grace St., Morgan City, La., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with burial rights read at the same location at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery, 450 Myrtle St.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Franklin Bias, or Morgan City; five stepsons, Frederick A. Franklin Sr., of Katy Texas, Ricky Franklin, of Tacoma, Washington, Calvin C. Mosely, of Gibson, La., Freddie Mosely Jr. (Jasmine) of Lake Charles, La. and Johnathan Franklin of Morgan City, La.; two daughters, Tameika Bias of Amelia, La., and Tawana Bais Mead (Jermaine) of Thibodaux, La.; a stepdaughter, Shakettia Franklin, of Morgan City; four brothers, two sisters, a granddaughter that he reared, Da’Nyre Carter of Morgan City, La.; 23 grandchildren and one great-child.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Officiating Minister is Pastor Roy Bias.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
