Carey Anthony Montet Sr., 75, a native of Morgan City and resident of Amelia, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
He is survived by his wife, Deborrah LaCoste Montet of Amelia; a son, Carey Montet II of Amelia; three brothers, Russell Montet and Mark Montet, both of Bayou L’Ourse, and Jeffrey Montet of Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bayou L’Ourse Baptist Church. After services, military honors will be rendered.
