CALVIN BENNETT JR.

Calvin Joseph Bennett, Jr., 70, a native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Morgan City, La., passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 7:10 p.m.
Visitation will be from 9 am. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home chapel located at 6775 West Park Avenue in Houma. Burial will follow in Halfway Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Calvin Lamont Bennett of Lafayette, La. and Kenyatta (Alicia Brown) Bennett of Morgan City, La.; granddaughter, Makenya Bennett; mother, Albertha Johnson Bennett; brothers, Oliver (Gisele) Bennett, Ronald Bennett, Wayne Bennett, Carroll (Virginia) Bennett and Reginald Bennett; sisters, Jancie (Richard) Jones, Phyllis Bennett (Joseph), Cathy (Daniel) Brown, and Patricia (Juan) Walker; brothers, in law, Sullivan Ingram, Jr. and Sylvester (Shula) Ingram Sr.; sisters-in-law, Laura (James) Brown and Gertrude Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Urcel Ann Ingram Bennett; father, Calvin Joseph Bennett Sr.; inlaws, Sullivan Sr. and Urcel Reed-Ingram.
