BETTY DUCHAN

Betty Ruth Singleton Young Duchan, 73, a resident of Patterson, La. and native of Morgan City, La., passed away on Sunday June 10, 2018 at 5:05 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Walmsley United Methodist Church. 608 Freret St, Morgan City, La. 70380 from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Rev. Greaselda E. Bickman will officiate the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Memories of Betty will forever remain in the hearts of her husband, Rudy Duchan of Patterson, La.; one son, Joseph C. Young, III of Patterson, La.; three daughters, Ina Y. (Alvin) Irvin of Patterson, La.; Jo Lynn (Jonathan) Dardar of Houston, TX and Tina (Kevin) Hamilton of Bay Town, TX; two brothers, Robert Walmsley of Baltimore, MD and Larry Singleton of Thibodaux, La.; three sister, Mary Lee Vining of Marrero, La. , Marion Murray of Patterson, La. and Diann Johnson of Morgan City, La.; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother; her first husband, one brother, three sisters.
