BENJAMIN JOSEPH WILLIAMS

Benjamin Joseph Williams, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, La., passed away peacefully at 4:02 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8594 E. Main St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Nixon Williams of Houma; sons, Benjamin William of Houma and Joseph Williams of Franklin; daughter, Monica W. Folse; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; godchildren, brother, Walter Williams of Houma; sisters, Mary Ann Wallis of Morgan City, Kathryn Valentine and Mrs. Elmo (Gertude) Spruel both of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, parents, brother, sister, paternal grandparents, son-in-law, brothers-in-law.
