Beatrice Foster Smith, age 79, a resident of Franklin, Louisiana/ She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November, 9, 2021 at Iberia Medical Center, New Iberia, Louisiana.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Otis Mortuary Chapel (501 Willow Street-Franklin, La.) Commencing at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Smith is survived by (2) Sons: Shawn (AlAnna) Smith of Scott, La. and Brian Smith of Franklin, La.; (2) Brothers: Rev. Jimmy (Helen) Reed of Franklin, La. and Kemper (Carlene Clark) Batiste of New Iberia, La.; (2) Sisters: Rebeccal McCurtis of Franklin, La. and Bonnie Gunner of Loureuville, La.; (12) Grandchildren, (11) Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amy Haisley and Buddy Foster, (2) Sons Michael and Gary Smith; (5) Sisters Mary L. Mason, Lorraine Sparron, Celestine Bourdy, Elaine Dixon and Joyce Foster. (2) Aunts: Shirley Webb and Mary Yelling. (2) Brothers: Kennedy Batiste, Tim Foster. (3) Nieces Peggy Narisse, Tina Prevost and Alberta Prevost. (3) Nephews: Freddie Narssie, Casselgro F. Batiste, Jaquil Prevost.
