ALTON BRASHEAR

Alton Brashear, 70, a resident and native of Morgan City, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 29, 2020 at 1:32 P. M. at his residence.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday October 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, La. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform military honors.
Alton was a veteran of the Unites States Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge.
Memories of Alton will forever remain in the hearts of his companion, Tina Collier; one son, Alton Castille; one brother, Raymond J. (Gladys) Ruffin; three sisters, Ora Lee Garner all of Morgan City, La. and Suzette Brashear of Lafayette, La.; his step-mother, Idela G. Brashear; a step-sister, Mary Poole of Morgan City, La.; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Alton was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, his wife, a son, a daughter, a brother, his sisters, and a nephew.
