Althea Thomas Covington, 60, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Monday, April 24, 2023, at her residence.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Covington of Gatesville, Virginia; daughter, Shanica Welsh of Morgan City; two brothers, Gregory Thomas Sr. of Houma and Frelia Thomas of Schriever; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, parents and a brother.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
