Obituary: Karla Christine Lasalle-Blunt

Karla Christine Lasalle-Blunt, 78, died Sept. 12, 2026, having been born Nov. 12, 1947, and residing in New Orleans.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth St., Morgan City.
A Prayer Vigil/Rosary will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1011 First St., Patterson, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Alexander Blunt Sr.; daughter Shanelle Blunt-Jupiter (Byron); son Alexander Blunt II; brother: Charles LaSalle (Rose), Carlton LaSalle (Monica), and Patrick LaSalle; sister Paulette LaSalle Rowe (Clyde); and a grandson.
