Anna Lee Written Dinger
September 7, 1929 – October 4, 2026
Anna Lee Written Dinger left this earthly dwelling to enter into the peace of her heavenly home on Sunday, October 4, 2026. She will be missed by her family and friends. We rejoice with her, for after 97 blessed years on this earth, she is at rest in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Bernie J. Dinger Sr.; her parents, Melvina Tabor Written and William Written Sr.; sisters, Evaline Written Sons, Edna Written Dinger, and Virgie Written Lodrigue; brothers, William Written Jr. and Cornelius Written; great-granddaughter, Bridgett Dinger; and great-grandson, Alex (A.J.) Dinger.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lee Dinger Marshall and husband, Houston Marshall; daughter, Sue Ellen Dinger Morgan and husband, Hank Morgan; son, Bernie J. Dinger Jr. and wife, Christine Stives Dinger; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a celebration of Anna Lee’s life beginning promptly at 11:00am, all at Lighthouse Community Church in Berwick. Anna Lee will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery following the services. Family friend and beloved Pastor Mo Seneca will officiate the services.
