Obituary: Janet Pauline Hyman

Janet Pauline Hyman, born on December 24, 1942, in Little Rock, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026. She was the daughter of Dr. Hugh Harvey and Pauline Park Hyman.
She graduated from Neville High School and Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education. Janet was a devoted schoolteacher with many years of service in St. Mary Parish.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hugh Hyman, Jr.
Janet is survived by her children, Richard Aycock, II (Emily), with their children, Samuel, Ella and Owen; Thomas Aycock (Susan); and Gregory Aycock (Elise), with their children, Miles and Caroline.
Janet was laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in McKamie, Arkansas.
