Obituary: Verney J. Justilian Jr.

Verney J. Justilian Jr., 82, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, died Saturday, July 25, 2026.
He is survived by children, Alan Justilian, Ann LeBlanc, Mark Justilian, Maria Landry and Mary Hidalgo; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Ronald Justilian and Carolyn Borne.
He was preceded in death by his first and second wives, and two siblings.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, 8-9:30 a.m., with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church hall in Bayou Vista, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at the church. Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
