Now we're cooking at the Bayou BBQ Bash
The annual Bayou BBQ Bash drew 26 teams to the U.S. 90 bridge in Morgan City on Friday and Saturday for a Barbecue Competitors Alliance event The bash is an annual project of the Marine Corps League's St. Mary Detachment. This year, the league's Houma-Terrebonne detachment matched the locals by kicking in $5,000 in prize money. The bash includes separate Mata Tellman Dessert and Cannata's Kid's Q contests, as well as chicken, rib and brisket categories in the BCA event.
