St. Mary, Morgan City authorities report drug arrests

(Editor’s note: The charges listed here and the narratives that go with them are provided by the police agencies that made the arrests. Guilt or innocence has not been determined in court.)

Morgan City police and St. Mary deputies made a total of five arrests on drug charges this week, including three alleging possession with intent to distribute.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:

--Jacob Klenert, 32, South Everett Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of drug paraphernalia and disturbing the peace (intoxicated).

--Joniqua Johnson, 35, Pickett Lane, Franklin, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of hit and run. (Released on summons.)

--Alan Barber, 21, Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:16 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of theft (under $1,000).

--Cherie Domingue, 40, Karen Drive, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of telephone harassment.

--Aketa Francis, 33, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:57p.m. Tuesday on four counts of failure to appear for trial (6th Ward Morgan City Court.)

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:

--Daniel A. Aucoin, 59, Montegut, was arrested at 3:35 p.m. Sunday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of failure to obey a traffic device; window tint; and operating a vehicle while license is suspended, revoked, or canceled. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Michelle Lynn Lanclos, 40, Centerville, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Monday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of intentional littering. Lanclos was released on her own recognizance.

--Madison Bell, 17, Franklin, was arrested at 8:01 p.m. Monday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting) and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). Bell was released on a $1,000 bond.

--Victoria Nicole Annesley, 41, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was arrested at 9:19 p.m. Monday on a charge of disturbance and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $4,500.

--Davonte Williams, 34, Morgan City, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, littering, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Percocet, obstruction of justice and transactions involving drug
proceeds.

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Kalab Wood, 32, Houma, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 11:14 p.m. Tuesday on charges of littering, improper lane usage, no driver’s license, possession of marijuana, possession of MDMA and possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana.

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Guadalupe De Jesus Tellez Vazquez, 46, Lyons, Georgia, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 5 p.m. Monday on charges of possession of fraudulent documents, failure to use turn signals and possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Bail was set at $7,000.

--Robert Lee Fair Jr., 52, Patterson, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 11:45 a.m. Monday on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and violation of a drug-free zone.

Bail was set at $67,000.

Patterson

Chief Garrett Grogan reported this arrest:

--Nicole M. Duplechien, 41, Poplar Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. July 15 on charges of failure to appear in St. Mary Parish on a charge of issuing worthless checks and Assumption Parish on a charge of nonsupport. Duplechien is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with no bond set.
