Thibodaux Regional announces partnership with Compass Health

Thibodaux Regional Health System announced Wednesday that it has partnered with Compass Health to address a significant need for mental health treatment in this region.
“Thibodaux Regional recognizes the great demand for behavioral health services and is committed to treating the whole person.” said Greg Stock, CEO of Thibodaux Regional Health System. “As we continue to grow, our goal is to provide needed services and improve accessibility for patients.”
“Compass Health is an established leader in providing comprehensive psychiatric health services to the region. This partnership is another way Thibodaux Regional is enabling more individuals to receive needed care, alleviating the burden of having to travel far from home,” added Stock.
Through this partnership, Compass Health will work collaboratively with Thibodaux Regional to provide inpatient behavioral health services, perform inpatient psychiatric evaluations when requested, and coordinate placement of patients needing behavioral health care that present to the Emergency Department.

Thibodaux Regional Health Systemis a 210-bed acute care facility, is nationally recognized.
The system provides inpatient and outpatient care for the region.
In addition to primary care, highly specialized services offered include heart and vascular care, medical and radiation oncology, neurology, eurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, plastic and re-constructive surgery, general, laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, and more.
Compass Health, a leader in psychiatric medicine, partners with community hospital systems to manage psychiatric services in addition to owning free standing psychiatric facilities.
Founded in 1998 as a single community mental health center, Compass Health now provides 174 psychiatric medicine beds, nine hospital-based outpatient programs, and a mental health clinic in central and south Louisiana with more than 550 employees.
