Obituary: Charles W. Gray Sr.

Charles W. Gray Sr., 77, a native of Gibson and resident of St. Mary Parish, died Monday, June 15, 2026, at his residence.
Services were Saturday at Church of Christ in Morgan City with burial in Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lavone M. Gray of Patterson; sons, Julius Maze of Youngsville, Keith Gray of Slidell, Jason Gray of Carencro, Ryan Gray of Mesquite, Nevada, and Charles Gray Jr. of Broussard; daughters, Mary Scott of Lafayette and Dionne Green of Powder Spring, Georgia; two siblings, Royal Gray Jr. of Thibodaux and Carolyn Burdis of Little Rock, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings and a great-grandson.
Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
