Man arrested in hit-and-run death

The man sought in the May 11 hit and run that killed a Patterson woman was arrested Thursday.
Travis Gilmore, 34, was arrested by Louisiana State Police and booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on charges of vehicular homicide and hit and run.
State police had reported that Brea Paul, 26, Patterson, was walking on the La. 182 shoulder near Field Road when she was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Paul sustained fatal injuries and was dead at the scene.
