
Marijuana, assault, documents arrests reported this week

Area police agencies reported arrests this week on charges that include marijuana distribution, assault and fraudulent documents.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:
--Marcquise Williams, 27, Field Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
--Napolian Webb, 40, Kentucky Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of contempt of court (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Christopher Percle, 27, Clements Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Ke'mone Darby, 18, Apple Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. Monday on charges of remaining where forbidden, violation of a protective order and possession of tobacco under 21.
--Blake Wiggins, 31, Pecan Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Tuesday as a fugitive from the St. Mary and Assumption sheriff’s offices.
--Mark Price Sr., 72, La. 70, Pierre Part, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
St. Mary
Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:
--Chad Michael Bertrand, 41, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday on charges of no seat belt, resisting an officer by giving false information and possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a Morgan City Police Department warrant alleging failure to appear.
Bail has not been set at this time.
--Nathan Robert Corley, 46, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of theft. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Adam Wade Roy, 39, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of simple assault. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Brian Damian, 22, Amelia, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 9:42 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of resisting an officer. Damian was released on a $535 bond.
--Clifton Joseph Vining Jr., 55, Patterson, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Monday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and entry on land or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Zacolby Lionel Granger, 34, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Monday on charges of no seat belt, no child restraint, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, view inward and outward of window, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of persons under 17 and violation of protective orders.
Bail has not been set at this time.
--Erick Jaczon Jarquin-Calero, 32, Brookhaven, Georgia, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Monday on charges of speeding, driving on right side of road/exceptions, driver must be licensed, and unlawful production, manufacture, distribution or possession of fraudulent documents.
Bail has not been set at this time.
Patterson
Chief Garrett Grogan reported these arrests:
--Nathaniel Rollins, 30, Patterson, was arrested at 6 p.m. Tuesday on charges of no seat belt and no driver's license. Rollins was released to appear in Mayor's Court.
--Sylvester Francois Jr., 28, Patterson, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. Wednesday on a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of possession of MDMA (2-28 grams), any operating a vehicle without a driver's license, and improper turn or failure to give required signal.
Francois is currently held on a $7,000 bond. Francois is also being held on four outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department
Franklin
Chief Cedric Handy reported this arrest:
--Karen Brooks, 39, Plantation Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging improper supervision of a minor by a parent or legal custodian and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Brooks was booked, processed and released on a $2,000 bond.
