Four drug arrests reported by area agencies

(Editor’s note: The charges listed here and the narratives that go with them are provided by the police agencies that made the arrests. Guilt or innocence has not been determined in court.)

Local law enforcement agencies reported four arrests on drug charges over the last week, including two for synthetic cannabinoids.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:

--Peyton Godeaux, 18, Moffett Court, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:02p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and resisting an officer.

--Delmer Oliva Argueta, 21, Park Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. March 6 on charges of headlamps required, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of cocaine and open container.

--D'eros Soto, 17, Velma Court, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday on charges of resisting an officer and unsafe vehicle. (Released on summons.)

--Nathaniel Alber Rollins, 30, Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:31 p.m. Monday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (16th Judicial District Court).

--Louis Topham, 50, Polaris Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:24 p.m. March 6 on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Jeffrey Lambert Sr., 51, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. March 6 on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Kevin Marquez-Velaquez, 20, Willard Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving while intoxicated (under 21), stop sign violation, no driver’s license and resisting an officer.

--Alex Aguilar, 25, Amelia, was arrested at 6:51 p.m. Saturday on charges of reckless operation of a vehicle, no driver’s license and modified exhaust.

--Landon Aucoin, 19, Landry Lane, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Saturday on charges of general speed law, modified exhaust and expired motor vehicle inspection.

--Joshua LaCoste, 51, Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Sunday on a charge of battery on a dating partner.

--Caleb Alexander, 32, Mac Road, Magee, Mississippi, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated).

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:

--Brittnay Marie Clements, 37, Franklin, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of simple burglary. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Rashan Joseph Lewis, 40, Franklinton, was arrested at 7:48 a.m. Monday on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug
paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug without a prescription.

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Marlon Lance Roberson Jr., 20, Franklin, was arrested at 9:21 a.m. Monday on a charge of simple battery. Roberson continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Benjamin Albert Broussard, 39, Patterson, was arrested at11:56 a.m. Monday on a charge of violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Brad Scott Romero, 25, Franklin, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Monday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of operating a vehicle with improper headlamps, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and failure to maintain automobile liability insurance. Romero also held a Franklin Police Department warrant for no driver’s license, no seat belt and expired motor vehicle inspection. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Tyson Miguel Joubert, 44, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday on a probation violation and a warrant alleging failure to appear. Joubert was released on a $6,610 bond.

--Brian Keith Johnson, 30, Orange, Texas, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of contempt, speeding, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to honor a promise to appear.

Johnson was released on a $365 bond.

--Brandy Dawnstar Guidry, 42, Houma, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of theft. Bail has not been set at this time.

Assumption

Sheriff Leland Falcon reported this arrest:

--Jeremy Earl Gamble Jr., 28, Elaine Street, Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Monday on multiple St. Mary Parish fugitive warrants for failure to appear on counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, improper turning, driving left of center and driving under suspension.

A narcotics officer executed a traffic stop in Bayou L’Ourse on Monday afternoon and made contact with the driver now identified Gamble. The officer conducted a warrants check and determined that Gamble was wanted by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on multiple fugitive warrants.

Gamble was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending transfer to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Franklin

Chief Cedric Handy reported these arrests:

--Teonea Jones, 33, La. 182, Berwick, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. Monday on a warrant dated July 23, 2020, alleging aggravated battery. Jones was booked, processed and released to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.

--Christian Druilhet, 27, Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested at 11:31 a.m. Monday on a warrant dated Oct. 4 alleging violation of protective order (fourth offense), simple robbery, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and battery of a dating partner with child endangerment. Druilhet was additionally arrested on a warrant dated Jan. 14, 2026, alleging three counts of resisting an officer and violation of protective order. Druilhet was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Milton Green Jr., 39, Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on charges of simple battery and two counts of disturbing the peace. Green was booked, processed and held on a $4,500 bond.
