Roberts receives Golden Stethoscope

Terrebonne General Health System named Dr. Brian Roberts, emergency medicine, as the recipient of the Golden Stethoscope Award.
Roberts has been an emergency medicine physician at Terrebonne General for 12 years and is the current Emergency Department medical director. He is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Roberts graduated from Medical School at the American University of the Caribbean. He then completed his Internship at LSU in Shreveport, and his residency at LSU in Baton Rouge.
The Golden Stethoscope Award publicly recognizes a Terrebonne General physician for exceptional professionalism, integrity and teamwork in caring for patients and families, and interacting with hospital staff members and other physicians.
Two physicians are recognized with this award each year.
“Just do what is right for the patient,” Roberts said.
He explained that is what he tells every single resident and nurse practitioner.
