Police departments report six arrests

Local police departments reported six arrests late this week, including one alleging failure to appear to answer weapon, domestic and drug charges.
St. Mary
Sheriff Gary Driskell reported that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 103 complaints and made these arrests:
--Justin Omar Singleton, 27, Franklin, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of possession of a firearm or carrying a concealed weapon by a convicted felon, battery of a dating partner, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bail was set at $155,000.
--Ronnie Milton Boatman, 47, Baton Rouge, was arrested at 3:24 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear for neglect of family. Bail was set at $9,901.52.
--Lemarc Alexander Washington, 32, Lake Charles, was arrested at 6:16 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 51 calls for service over the last 48-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Wayne Demarco, 37, Everett Street, Morgan City, was arrested at12:14 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
---Brooks Mitchell, 57, Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, was at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of theft (under $1,000) and as a fugitive from the New Orleans Police Department.
Franklin
Chief Cedric Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 15 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Erick Haisley, 34, Shlester Way, New Iberia, was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Thursday on warrants for 3rd Ward City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of driving under suspension, no insurance, flashing signals, and stop signs and yield signs. Haisley was booked, processed and released on a $698 bond.
