Clarke, Thibodeaux join Thibodaux Regional staff

Thibodaux Regional Health System announced that Dr. Dedric Clarke, cardiac electrophysiologist, and Dr. Alex Thibodeaux, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, have joined the active medical staff.
Clarke is available to care for patients at Thibodaux Regional Cardiology Clinic, 602 North Acadia Road, Suite 101, Thibodaux, 985-493-4993.
A native of Vacherie, Clarke attended Nicholls State University and earned his degree in Biology from Xavier University in New Orleans. He received his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
Additionally, Clarke completed fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Clarke is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, general cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and is a member of the American College of Cardiology.
As a cardiologist specializing in electrophysiology, Clarke is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of the heart’s electrical system, which that controls heart rhythm such as atrial fibrillation.
Clark chose to work at Thibodaux Regional because he has had the fortune to meet people from all walks of life, but he most cherishes the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the community that has given him so much, the hospital said in a news release.
Thibodeaux is available to care for patients at Thibodaux Regional Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic located at 726 North Acadia Road, Suite 1700, Thibodaux, 985-493-4980.
A native of Thibodaux, Thibodeaux earned his undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge and received his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He also completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Thibodeaux is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Medical Association.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Thibodeaux specializes in the non-operative, conservative management of disorders of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, nerves, brain, and spinal cord.
Thibodeaux is able to perform a wide variety of in-office ultrasound-guided procedures as well as nerve conduction studies.
Thibodeaux chose to practice at Thibodaux Regional because the patient population resonates with his roots and gives him the opportunity to share his passion for delivering specialized, evidence-based care to our region, the hospital said.
