Battery, DWI arrests reported by local agencies

St. Mary deputies reported two drunken driving arrests this week, while Morgan City police worked a pair of battery cases.

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:

--Jordan Landry Gauthreaux, 30, Pierre Part, was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Gauthreaux was released on a $2,500 bond.

--Geron Stewart, 26, Morgan City, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 7 p.m. Monday on charges of possession of marijuana, improper display, possession of stolen firearms and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Joshua Gabriel Kelly, 51, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 10 p.m. Tuesday on charges of criminal trespass, criminal damage to property, driving under suspension and careless operation.
Bail was set at $15,000.

--Catrina Stewart Druilhet, 46, Baldwin, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday on a Baldwin Police Department warrant alleging failure to appear. Druilhet was transferred to another agency.

--Joanie Sanders Smith, 44, Franklin, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $2,500.

--Juan Diego Perusquia De La Cruz, 36, Morgan City, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday on charges of window tint and no driver’s license and on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant -detainer. Bail was set at $1,250 on the SMPSO charges, and a hold-detainer has been placed on De La Cruz for ICE.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:

--Brenda Gordon, 57, Duke Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Monday on a charge of simple battery.

--Lilly LeBlanc, 18, Duke Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Monday on a charge of simple battery.

--Laqwajhia Bourgeois, 27, Federal Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Monday on a charge of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Lanesha Navarre, 31, Bush Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Monday on charges of domestic abuse battery and two counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Kord Atkinson, 38, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:56 p.m. Monday on a charge of hit and run. (Released on summons.)

--Hayden Hebert, 17, Second Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:53 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of criminal trespass.

--Randy Hatcher, 46, Aucoin Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on charges of remaining where forbidden and resisting an officer.
