PIETRO LUKE LIPARI

Pietro Luke Lipari, affectionately known as LP, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness.
LP was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a mentor to countless people and was considered a very wise man and loving friend. Following a 49 year career in the Oil Field Industry he retired to live out his dream raising deer on his 38 acre family farm. A devout Catholic, LP was very involved in his faith and had a servant’s heart. He, along with his wife Debbie, were members of Come Lord Jesus for over 20 years and taught various classes throughout the years. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him in this thing we call life.
His beautiful memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of his wife of 53 years, Deborah “Debbie” May Lipari; their two sons, David Luke Lipari and his wife Liz and Danny Lipari and his wife Karrie; his grandchildren, Makayla, Addisen, and Luke; sister-in-law, Paulla Aloisio; brother-in-law, Ken Montgomery; niece, Beverly Delaune; nephew, Josh Montgomery; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke Peter Lipari and Lucy DeLuca Lipari; his sister, Nadine L. Montgomery; in-laws, BJ May and Anna Smith May; brothers-in-law, John May and Mike Aloisio; and nephews, Jacob and Ben Aloisio.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, February 20, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Patterson from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM led by the Bayou Vista Men’s Ultreya Group.
