Fourth of July holiday closings

Parish and East St. Mary municipal offices will be closed Thursday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

The Morgan City Review office will also be closed Thursday. Because of the impact on our production schedule, the deadline for legal and classified advertising for the Friday, July 5, edition will be 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 2.

The obituary deadline for the July 5 edition will be 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 3.

Morgan City Hall will be closed Thursday and will resume normal hours Friday, July 5.

Berwick Town Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.

The St. Mary Parish Courthouse will be closed Thursday. The courthouse will reopen Friday, but parish government offices will be closed.

WastePro and Pelican Waste and Debris will pick up trash on Thursday.

The Harold J. "Babe" Landry Landfill will close at noon Thursday.
