History makes banner headlines

Two new banners were installed recently at the Cajun Coast Tourism Center by Catherine Holcomb of St. Mary Excel, right, and Greig Chauvin, left. “Orphan Trains Along the Atchafalaya” tells the story of early 20th century children who were sent South to be adopted by families in the area. “Living Along the Atchafalaya” features the story of Morgan City’s resilience and how our residents adapt to whatever the river sends our way.
