Nine arrests on assault or battery charges over the weekend

St. Mary police agencies reported nine arrests on assault or battery charges over the weekend, including three that resulted in domestic abuse charges and three resulting in charges of battery of a police officer.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 126 calls for service over the last 72-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Myles Anthony Morgan, 35, Front Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:34 p.m. Saturday on a charge of domestic abuse battery.
--Alex Christopher Robinson, 25, Jones Street, Berwick, was arrested at 2:06 p.m. Sunday on charges of domestic abuse battery and no insurance.
--Alan Michael Robinson, 25, Jones Street, Berwick, was arrested at 4:22 p.m. Sunday on charges of simple battery and failure appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Dontassia Adams, 23, Wood Meadow Parkway, Dallas, was arrested at 4:29 p.m. Sunday on a charge of simple battery.
--Hernan David Bueso-Ulloa, 23, Chennault Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:57 a.m. Saturday on charges of possession of fraudulent documents, switched license plates and registration required.
--Trinity Nicole Todd, 28, Homestead Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. Saturday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Alton Wayne Mizell, 60, La. 182, Berwick, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. Sunday on three counts of failure to appear for trial (16th Judicial District Court).
--John Ashmore, 52, Amelia Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated).
--Tyisha Brandel, 38, Gen. Ogden Avenue, New Orleans, was arrested at 10:09 a.m. Sunday on a charge of criminal damage to property.
--Anjaylyn Grogan, 18, Leo Street, Patterson, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting).
--Palmer Cox IV, 58, Oregon Street, Berwick, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Sunday on charges of possession of hydrocodone, disregard of traffic controls, no insurance and failure to appear for trial (16th Judicial District Court).
Patterson
Chief Garrett Grogan reported these arrests:
--Branden D. Mills, 43, Main Street, Patterson, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Saturday on a charge of aggravated battery of the infirm (with medical attention). Mills is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with no bond set.
--Nylan G. Favors, 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Paatterson, was arrested at 7:48 p.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic abuse battery (child endangerment), resisting an officer and simple criminal damage to property. Favors is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with no bond set.
--Harvey D. Hamlett Jr., 53, Rizzo Street, Patterson, was arrested at 12:49 p.m. Friday on two counts of smoking in a motor vehicle, two counts of child restraint violation, and driving with a suspended, revoked, or canceled driver's license. Hamlett was released on a summons
--Mark A. Smith, 59, Myrtle Street, Patterson, 2:56 p.m. Saturday on charges of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass. Smith was released on a summons.
St. Mary
Sheriff Blaise Smith reported that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 88 complaints and made these arrests:
--Anthony Joseph Beard, 47, Franklin, was arrested at 4:41 p.m. Sunday on charges of disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Christopher M. Gross, 43, Franklin, was arrested at 7:48 p.m. Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Gross was released on a $2,500 bond.
--Jose Miguel Perez Izaguirre, 25, Amelia, was arrested at 8:09 p.m. Saturday on a warrant alleging failure to appear oncharges of driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, and hit-run-driving. Bail has not been set at this time.
--Shauntell Hartegen, 40, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:24 p.m. Sunday on charges of simple criiminal damage to property, criminal trespass and resisting an officer by flight. Bail has not been set at this time.
Franklin
The Franklin Police Department asks that if anyone has any video in reference to an incident that occurred at Franklin Senior High School on Friday to please contact Chief Cedric Handy’s cellphone at 337-940-4771.

Chief Cedric Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 13 complaints over the past weekend and made these arrests:
--Tasha Louis, 41, Gates Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 3:12 p.m. Friday on warrants dated Sept. 21 alleging simple assault and cyberbullying. Louis was booked, processed and released to appear in 3rd Ward City Court.
--Jasmine McCoy, 29, Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Friday on charges of battery of a police officer, disturbing the peace (fighting), remaining where forbidden, and interfering with a law enforcement investigation. McCoy was booked, processed and released on a $7,000 bond.
--Marie McCoy, 58, Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Friday on two counts of battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force and simple criminal damage to property. McCoy was booked, processed and released on a $7,50 bond.
--Jamond Johnson, 33, Boudreaux Street, Franklin, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. Friday on four counts of battery of a police officer, three counts of resisting an officer with force and disturbing the peace (fighting).
Johnson was additionally arrested on a warrant for 3rd Ward City Court alleging failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, driving under suspension, improper backing, and one-way roadways. Johnson was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release
