Five arrests reported by police agencies

Area police agencies reported five arrests Monday and early Tuesday.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls for service and made these arrests:

--Dexter A. Aucoin, 30, Joey Street, Patterson, was arrested at 4:23 p.m. Monday as a fugitive from the Lafayette Police Department.

--Nicholas A. Gamble, 42, Jupiter Street, Morgan City, was arrested at12:15 p.m. Monday on a warrant alleging three counts of failure to appear to pay fines (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Juan C. Montecillo-Delacruz, 23, Levee Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging two counts of failure to appear (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

Patterson

Chief Garrett Grogan reported this arrests:

--Timothy D. Byers, 58, Ryan Drive, Patterson, was arrested at 2:05 p.m. Monday on a charge of possession of marijuana (less than 14 grams). Byers was released with a summons.

Franklin

Interim Chief Tina Thibodeaux reported that Franklin Police Department responded to nine complaints in the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Jada Johnson, 30, Canal Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. Monday on a warrant dated Jan. 27 alleging disturbing the peace (fighting). Johnson was booked, processed and released to appear in 3rd Ward City Court
